“Located on the roof of The University of Warsaw Library – this treasure is 1 hectare of assorted greenery, hidden in the heart of the city. Although open to the public the atmosphere here is relaxed and tranquil – no noisy crowds or groups of tourists. Referred to as one of the largest and most beautiful roof gardens in Europe, this amazing bio-industrial landscape with panoramic views of Warsaw (designed by landscape architecture Irena Bajerska) immediately transports you to another dimension from futuristic books or movies. If you come with binoculars you can enjoy overlooking the city and peer inside the library through the glass roof of the building.”
