If you would like to submit an article to be considered for publication in The Garden Edit Journal, please read the following guidelines.

Inspired By

Inspired By is a photographic series that celebrates gardens, landscapes and plants on a personal level. We welcome submissions from all photographers who love the garden and are inspired by all things associated with it.

Please send a minimum of 8 photographs, a brief biography, where you shot these images and in 100 words or less, outline why you choose to capture this subject matter to journal@thegardenedit.com.

Images should be saved in RGB format, 72dpi jpgs. Landscape images should be 1100px wide, portrait images 600px wide. If you would like two portrait images side by side, please join yourself and supply as a single image following the same criteria.

Garden Series

Garden Series is a photographic essay of people in their gardens. It explores both public and private spaces and the people who create, nurture and tend to them.

Please send a minimum of 15 photographs, a brief biography of the gardener and where it is located to journal@thegardenedit.com. In 200 words or less, we would also like the gardener to outline what this space means to them.

Images should be saved in RGB format, 72dpi jpgs under 250kb. Landscape images sized to 770 x 513px, portrait images to 770 x 1035px. Please also supply one hero image 2000px wide, 72 dpi, RGB jpg under 1MB.

Please only submit content to us if you are the owner of all intellectual property rights within that content. We do not pay for submissions so ensure you provide all credit information to us with your application, so we can print it with the article.

The Garden Edit is free to publish submitted content in whole or in part on this website or other associated publications.

This is our passion, not our full-time job. However, we will endeavour to get back to you as swiftly as possible. Not all applications will be accepted. Please do not take offence if your application does not meet our strict selection criteria.
