“Last year Jo and I worked on a special garden issue for M Le Magazine du Monde. They wanted to feature a garden in England, so I choose Great Dixter in East Sussex. Originally the family home of Christopher Lloyd, the renowned writer and plantsman, Great Dixter is one of my favourite English gardens as it is somewhat eccentric and throughly charming. Made up of a collection of gardens within a garden, there is always something to see. When we visited in early summer, the various meadows and the long border were in full swing.”
