Greenhouse Studies is a limited edition of 30 prints, created exclusively for Pleasure Garden magazine by Philippe Weisbecker. Each print is signed and numbered by the artist.
Philippe Weisbecker was born in 1942 and raised in France. Following a career as Head of the Graphic Design Department at the Tunisian Tourist Bureau, he moved to New York in 1968. There he began his career in fine art and illustration. He had his first exhibition in Paris in 1975, with many following around the world in cities including New York, Barcelona and Tokyo. His art frequently referenced architectural motifs and tools, and he worked on his drawings, gouaches and lithographs in series—many in old notebooks. In 2006 he returned to Paris.
